We Received a Wheelchair from a Patient Discharged from Our Hospital

Nov. 23th, 2011, we received a special gift from our patient who was going to be discharged from our hospital. Liu pushed a wheelchair to the nurse station and said:” I will never use it any more, and I want to give it to you as a gift to show our appreciation and help more patients who need it.” Liu gave us warm hug and a big smile.

Liu was born in a small country. On Oct. 7th, 2011, she fainted suddenly and her family sent her to the local hospital in a hurry. She was out of danger after the rescue operation. She was told she has Chronic Kidney Failure and her illness condition has developed into the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). All her family was freaked out.

Liu began to experience headache, fatigue, swelling, nausea, loss of appetite about one year ago. However, her disease was mistakenly diagnosed as gastritis in her local clinic. Therefore, she treated her kidney problems by taking medicines of gastritis for about a year. There is no wonder that her discomforts were aggravated over time. These symptoms are the early signs of kidney problems and she missed the best treatment time. That is why her illness condition was so severe. Because of too much toxins and wastes building up in the body, she received dialysis immediately in her local hospital.

Liu heard that once one began to undergo dialysis, he/she would suffer from it for a lifetime. Liu wanted to find medical help to get rid of dialysis since she started for dialysis not very long.

Her daughter found our hospital on the Internet, knowing there is a way to help her mother get rid of dialysis. Oct. 17th, 2011, Liu could not stand and she was brought to our hospital.

At this time, Liu was very weak and she needed to be cared in every aspects. She was diagnosed with renal anemia, renal high blood pressure, electrolyte disturbance and cardiac insufficiency. Her serum creatinine elevated up to 672umol/L. She was identified with Chronic Kidney Failure.

In our hospital, she received Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy for about a month. Her serum creatinine was decreased to 430umol/L (before dialysis). And her dialysis frequency reduces from three times one week to once one week. Her discomforts vanished and she got rid of wheelchair gradually.

Her husband was very glad and said “the time I pushed her here on wheelchair, she even had difficulty of breathing, and now she does not need it any longer. Now, we give it to you as a gift, and thank you to all the doctors and nurses here.”
