Early detection and treatment is of significance. So we have to get an idea what the early symptoms of Hypertensive Nephropathy are.
Most Hypertensive Nephropathy patients are between 40-50 years old and have hypertension for 5-10 years. Usually, the blood pressure is persistently increasing (over 150/100 mmHg). Some have the symptoms like edema in the lower extremities and cardiac enlargement. Most Hypertensive Nephropathy patients have arteriosclerotic retinopathy. When there are striation and flame-shaped bleeding, it can be diagnosed as malignant renal arteriole sclerosis.
In the early stage, Hypertensive Nephropathy patients only have the symptoms like frequent nocturnal micturition, then protein urine, with gross hematuria in several cases but no obvious osphyalgia. The disease development is slow and some develop into renal failure. Usually, Hypertensive Nephropathy patients have mild damage of renal function. Urinary Routine Examination will show abnormality .
The symptoms of Hypertensive Nephropathy can include the following ones in detail:
First, urine color changes. That is urine is turbid.
Second, the foam in the urine increases and doesn’t disappear for a long time because there is much protein in the urine of Hypertensive Nephropathy patients.
Third one is edema. For Hypertensive Nephropathy patients, there will be edema on the eyelids or face after the patients get up. After noon, it may disappear. The more fatigue, the severer. Severe edema will appear on both lower limbs, lumbosacral part and inside double ankles.
Fourth, nocturia. For normal people within 60 years old, there shouldn’t be nocturia. For the young, increased urination at night shows renal insufficiency, the symptom of early Hypertensive Nephropathy.
Fifth, too much or too little urine volume. For the normal, average urine output is 1500 ml/day, 4-8 times/day. If urine volume increases suddenly without a lot of sweating or drinking lots of water, the patient should go to hospital to have a check to see if it is kidney disease.
Sixth, back pain. If back pain appears without any reason, the patient should have a check of kidneys, spine and lumbar muscles, the symptom of Hypertensive Nephropathy.
If one has above symptoms, one should take care of them. Early detection and treatment will help the effect improvement and can prevent it from developing into severe kidney disease, like uremia or kidney failure.
