Early Symptoms of Hypertensive Nephropathy

According to theory, the patients at age of 40 to 50 and have Hypertension for over 5 to 10 years, they are easy to have Hypertensive Nephropathy. At the early stage, enuresis nocturna may increase and then they will have protein urine. Some people may have transient gross hematuria which is caused by the burst of blood capillary. However, patients with Hypertensive Nephropathy usually have no waist pain. Hypertensive Nephropathy usually accompanies with arteriosclerotic retinopathy, LVH (Left ventricular hypertrophy), coronary disease, cardiac failure, cerebral arteriosclerosis or cerebrovascularaccident. The process of Hypertensive Nephropathy is chronic and it will develop into Renal Failure gradually. If the blood pressure has not been controlled for a long time and the patient also has heart and brain disease, serious protein urine will occur.
Swelling is one of the most common symptoms of kidney disease, but it always be ignored by people. Benign nephrosclerosis is most present in people over 60 years old while the rare malignant nephrosclerosis occurs only in 1 to 5 percent of people with hypertension.Benign nephrosclerosis seldom result to Kidney Failure. However, if patients with Hypertensive Nephropathy don't take treatment timely, the high blood pressure may do harm to kidney function.
About 90% of the patients are diagnosed with Hypertensive Nephropathy by physical examination, especially for the middle-aged people. In addition, most patients have the family history of Hypertension. Due to kidney disease can also lead to Hypertension, so patients with kidney problems should examine their blood pressure regularly.
